For attorneys
We do the document prep. You provide the legal advice.
MyCaseworks is a document-preparation platform that connects international students and immigrants with licensed attorneys across the US, UK, and Canada. We handle intake, form preparation, and payment routing. You provide attorney review under your own license and malpractice insurance, and get paid a flat fee per case via Stripe Connect within 48 hours.

Frequently asked
Common questions from attorneys
Is this a fee-splitting arrangement?+
No. Under ABA Model Rule 5.4 and most state-bar rules, a non-lawyer cannot share legal fees with a lawyer. MyCaseworks charges the client a separate flat fee for document preparation; your review fee is paid in full to you, not split. The platform fee and the attorney fee are tracked and disclosed to the client separately.
Is MyCaseworks a law firm?+
No. MyCaseworks is a Delaware limited liability company providing document preparation and technology services. The legal advice in any client engagement comes from a licensed attorney through their own practice. The platform terms of service make this explicit on every engagement letter.
How does payment work?+
You complete Stripe Connect Express onboarding once during sign-up. From then on, when you submit a completed case review, the platform initiates the payout to your linked bank account. Standard timing: 48 hours after submission, deposited via ACH. Stripe takes its standard processing fee from the client charge before payout, not from your fee.
What states do you serve?+
Clients use the platform from across the US, UK, and Canada. Each attorney on the panel handles only matters within their jurisdiction(s) of bar admission. We route incoming cases to the right attorney based on their licensure - you don't handle out-of-state matters.
How are conflicts of interest managed?+
Before each case is routed to you, you receive the client's name, email, and case summary. You can decline if there's a conflict - that case routes to another attorney on the panel. The platform doesn't override your professional judgment on conflicts.
What happens if I want to leave the panel?+
Either party can terminate the contract reviewer agreement with 30 days' written notice. You finish in-progress cases and we route new cases to other attorneys.
Do I need to be a licensed immigration attorney specifically?+
No. We need attorneys across several practice areas: US immigration (USCIS forms, OPT, H-1B, green cards), UK immigration solicitors (Home Office applications, ILR, spouse visa), Canadian immigration (RCIC or lawyer in good standing - Express Entry, PNP, study permits), UK tenancy (Renters' Rights Act 2025), US student loan / borrower defense, business formation for immigrant founders. Tell us your specialty and we'll route accordingly.
Where do I read the contract terms before applying?+
Email hello@legal.yousafeconsultancy.com with your bar number and we'll send the full Contract Reviewer Agreement plus a sample case review pack. Standard turnaround: 24 hours.
